STATOZ QUO relive the music of Status Quo and their mission is to deliver the closest sound to Quo you will ever hear!

Quo is still one of Britain's biggest bands and the statistics speak for themselves. They have sold more than 118 million records worldwide, have had more Top Ten hits than any other band in UK chart history (including songs like 'Rocking All Over The World', 'Down Down', 'Whatever You Want' and many more) and have made more appearances on 'Top of the Pops' than any other band.

The authentic Statoz Quo is a Quo tribute of seasoned 'Quo' performers, all of whom have a real passion for the band. Let's introduce the band members:

Steve Brewster on lead guitar and lead vocals - Steve is a veteran of Quo music, he was also in another Quo tribute band called 'State Oz Quo' which was a Brisbane based band in the early 2000's, and the band also appeared on 'A Current Affair'.

David "Deefer" Catterall on rhythm guitar and lead vocals - David has been a 'Status Quo' fan all his musical career and performed a lot of their songs in other bands he has been involved with. He also is in contact with Status Quo regularly and is involved with the touring management of Status Quo when they are in Australia.

Tony Lingard on bass guitar and Vocals - Tony was a founder member of the top UK Quo tribute band 'State of Quo' and 'John Coghlan's Quo' (featuring Status Quo's original drummer) and performed many shows with them over a number of years. He toured all over the UK and Europe, knew Quo very well and has acquired Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt's Telecaster Guitars, including the straps and road cases from the 'Rock 'Til You Drop' tour.

Gary Peters on drums and percussion - Gary was the drummer and creative force behind Quo tribute band 'Quo Vadis' for five years, the highlight of his career being his performance of their show with fellow member Roy Lynes in front of all the members of Status Quo on their 2000 tour of Australia.

Paul Middlebrook on Keyboards & Vocals - Paul is a professional musician whose keyboard skills greatly add to the authentic Quo sound. He has also performed in many top tribute shows including The Suzi Quatro Tribute Show. He also runs the Musicians Pro Shop on the Gold Coast.

Also as special guest for some of the shows is Roy Lynes on keyboards and vocals - Roy was an original member of Status Quo and performed on many of their early hit records. Since leaving Quo, Roy has continued to perform in his own right and, more recently, has worked with Quo tribute band 'Quo Vadis'. On the Quo 2000 tour of Australia, Roy performed keyboards live with Quo on stage in Brisbane!

Statoz Quo bring fresh dimensions to the Quo tribute band scene, with the added authenticity of an original Quo member (in the form of Roy Lynes) and Rossi and Parfitt's own Telecaster Guitars being used in the show.

Enjoy the gig and we guarantee that Statoz Quo will leave you wanting more!

Enjoy the show!
